RE: sliping clutch 600 sportsman 2003

Thanks for your replys I ended up replacing the cluch with a polaris clutch kit it came with a new drive & driven clutch & belt no more problem. The old drive clutch was completly trashed & it was actually cheaper to go with the new kit. THANKS AGAIN ATV MAG ROCKS.

RE: SPORTSMAN 600 2005 Electrical problem

Do check your circuit breakers you will find the breaker thats in that circuit under your front rack & plastic I have seen this prblem before. The breakers are sealed in a rubber rap you will have to cut that open to acsess the breaker they do go bad.

RE: sliping clutch 600 sportsman 2003

Thx for your reply I found parts called clutch buttons in the drive clutch schematics & I will inspect. The belt only has about 1000 mi. But it could be worn because of slippage. Thanks again if you have any other ideas let me know. Dmoose1

sliping clutch 600 sportsman 2003

I have a sliping problem high range 25/30 mph low range 10mph the belt is not very old bike has 12000 miles & the slipage is progressively getting worse. Wondering if this is a comon problem & what I need to look for. I have ran it in park with the clutch cover off & everything seems to be working ok. Do the springs get week with time ? If anyone can help with ideas it would be appreciated. Thanks Dmoose
